Palisade Colorado Orchards

Palisade, Colorado is renowned for its fertile land’s ability to grow some of North America’s best fruit. Palisade has a rich history of raising all types of fruits and vegetables in a climate unique to this section of the Western Slope. As early
as the 1890s, apple, cherry, peach, pear and plum trees were planted in Palisade. In 1909, the town celebrated the first Peach Day festival, with President Taft as the speaker. During harvest season, which runs from late June to early October, you’ll be able to find these great fruits and vegetables at stands and orchards throughout Palisade.
 

Fresh produce and delicious fruit products are a way of life for Bob & Alida Helmer. From orchard and field to the canning kitchen, the Helmers are dedicated to making the very best of western Colorado fruit available for your enjoyment.

We offer un-dipped apricots or apricots dipped in dark, milk, or white chocolate. They are available as natural apricots (simply treated with sulfur dioxide to preserve color) or glacé with light sugar syrup for a shiny appearance (coming soon). Our Attractive and compact packaging has been tested to withstand the rigors of mailing. Our products are perfect for holiday giving. Please order by Thanksgiving for pre-Christmas delivery or any day.

Ball Fruit carries gorgeous seasonal fruit available for retail and wholesale purchase. Ball primarily offers peaches, pears, apples, apricots, plums and grapes. If you aren't sure what to buy, they always have free samples. Quality produce and friendly service are their goals!

Bikki's is a family owned and operated orchard, proudly raising, harvesting, sorting, packing, and marketing their fresh fruit and produce. “We have the best of the Colorado West.”

C&R Farms raises a variety of peaches, apples, cherries, apricots and pears. Our fruit is tree ripened, allowing the fruit to naturally ripen and gain optimum flavor while still on the tree. It is also hand picked and hand packed to ensure maximum flavor and appearance.

We offer fresh produce and homemade products for sale at our Country Store at the orchards.

Rancho Durazno means "Peach Farm" in Spanish, which is difficult to spell and pronounce, so the farm is also referred to as "The Cameron Place." Rancho Duranzo is surrounded by wild lands, desert cliffs and slopes. They are part of every view, and make this one of the best sites in a valley famous for its peaches.

Rocky Mountain Peach Co. is a small peach farming business located in the Fruitland area near Palisade. RMPC produces high quality peaches from early July to mid September in Colorado's Rocky Mountains, specializing in the freshest, tree ripened peach production possible.

Sommer's Harvest is family owned and operated. They make their bread mixes, candy, jams and jellies, and chocolate dipped dried fruit fresh daily so you get a quality product every time. They also sell fresh peaches in season.

Talbott Farms proudly grows, packs and ships Colorado fruits and fruit products from their Palisade farm.

Connect with the earth through locally oriented organic orchards, flower gardens, vegetable gardens and beehives. Call ahead for a one-hour tour ($7 per person) of the premier Consumer Supported Agriculture farm (CSA) in the Grand Valley.

Nestled in a lush valley at the foot of Mt. Garfield is Z's Orchards and Produce. This family owned orchard produces a wide variety of produce throughout the 182-day growing season.  From the first crops of sweet cherries, apricots and raspberries in early June to succulent peaches mid-to-late summer, to delicious fall apples, Z's Orchards and Produce is dedicated to growing the highest quality fruit crops in the world.
